Life-Sized Barred Owl Woodcarving

One of a kind, Carved out of Tupelo Wood, Painted with Acrylics, Glass Eyes,
perched on a unique piece of Driftwood in such a way that the branch disappears
with the feathers of the Owl flowing over it and comes out the other side of the Owl.
With a solid Marble Base to keep it balanced.

29” tall,  14” deep,  17” wide

One of the greatest thrill’s I’ve had was to bring my Carving to a release of a rehabilitated Barred Owl.  Jane Kelly from On the Wing let me get a picture of my Carving next to the live Owl.  She was telling me what sex my Carving was and what it had been eating.  Totally amazing experience.  Look at the smile on my face.
